Engineering
Engineering is a non-residential Learning Community.
Engineering majors are enrolled into an INTD 1810, LC: Engineering course in the Fall semester which introduces students to Professor John Bennett, Jr. The class provides students with an overview of opportunities within the Engineering major, as well as information about opportunities and resources available to them at the University of Connecticut.
Learning about this major as a cohort places students on the right track to be successful, and allows them to support other students with similar interests.
Engineering majors can also elect to participate in EUROTECH, an exciting dual degree program in Engineering and German that has a study abroad and internship component in Germany. EUROTECH students can also elect to live in the EUROTECH residential Learning Community.
