Reach out to Tomas and visit him during his office hours about any of the following:

  • Work with him on prioritizing inclusiveness, collaboration, and inter-LC interactions
  • Take deep consideration for diverse LC representation at Learning Community-wide events
  • Help ensure that other chairs take into account these diverse representations when planning for events and programs, keeping diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion in mind
  • Work with him directly for projects on:
  • Cultural Showcase
  • Other Diversity and inclusion programming, events, and trainings
  • Help act as a liaison between the learning community office and the UConn Office of Diversity and Inclusion, as well as other UConn organizations doing important diversity and inclusion work
  • Help increase the visibility of diverse LC student experiences online (Instagram, the website, etc.) and through recruitment events (Open houses, LC showcases, Panels, etc.).
