Zohaib is a junior majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology on the pre-medicine track. He is a Public Health Learning Community Alum where he was the Vice President of Outreach during his sophomore year. This is Zohaib’s first year on the Learning Community Executive Council and is serving as the Community Well-Being Chair. He is involved with a variety of different organizations on campus within and outside first-year programs. He is a former First-Year Experience Mentor and Medical Laboratory Assistant for the MLS program. Currently, he is a Research Assistant with Dr’s. Blanchard and Corso, Fundraising Chair for the Haven2Heal Club, volunteers his time as an EMT, and is a member of the Leadership Legacy Experience 2025 cohort. Zohaib aspires to become a physician and address social determinants of health. A fun fact about him is that he likes to do origami in his spare time.

  • Prioritizing Student Well-Being and Health throughout the academic year 
  • Incorporate Well-Being into the planning of LC events, programs, and initiatives to remind students the importance of their Well-Being  
  • Well-Being Initiatives (including but not limited to) Well-Being Wednesday posts, campus resources, peer support 
  • Collaborating with Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) and other campus resources to promote student physical and mental health 
  • Assessing student feedback for Well-Being initiatives and events to tailor support and adapt to the diverse needs of the student body.
