Take Back the Night is an international movement held each April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month to stand against sexual violence and break the silence surrounding it. Through survivor stories, open mics, and community gathering, it reclaims safety and power for survivors. UConn’s 2026 theme, “Breaking the Current, Letting the Healing Ripple,” centers healing, courage, and community.
